This five-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath residence is carefully calibrated to fit within the East Hampton town-mandated maximum floor area of 2,800 square feet. Every inch of space is deliberately allocated to support the clients’ needs, resulting in a single-family home that integrates appropriately within the surrounding context while accommodating contemporary living in an environmentally sensitive setting. Sited adjacent to a protected dune area, the building’s orientation, form, and materiality respond directly to the town’s rigorous permitting requirements.
